Dayi Zhao Tomb (in simplified Chinese 大邑赵云墓) was the tomb of Zhao Zilong, the great General in the past. According to some legends, Zhao was a very strong General which had never lost in any wars. Sadly, he died because of diseases and was not able to help his master to rule the whole country.
The Dayi Zhao Tomb is located in Dayi country, with one kilometer east to Yinping Yamashita. There were hills, hillside, magnificent momentum submerges weeks which have stone wall, ancient woods. As the tomb was built of the wooden structure it was a quite quiet and beautiful courtyard building, and there is high vertical median 2.5 meters, one meter wide tombstone inscriptions on” Shun Zhao tomb only” characters, both sides engraved with gold fill couplet.
In fact, you might not find it interesting to visit somebody’s tomb. Yes, it might not be quite funny. However, there are a lot of belongings of General Zhao in the tomb and if you are Chinese lovers and if you have read the legends and stories, you would probably want to visit there once for the great experience.
Many people who love the legends would surely admire the justice of Zhao and the strong performance in the battlefield. Therefore, they would grab the chances to know more about him. If you are one of them, visiting his tomb would surely give you that experience.
Of course, if you really feel it boring to visit a tomb, you could choose not to visit it. However, if you do not go to have a look when you are in Chengdu, it would be a waste of your traveling fee because this tomb can be called as part of Chinese culture and that is something that you should try to treasure besides the shopping malls and scenic spots.
